Junior Technical Analyst - Information Management
Job Description
JHNA is seeking a Junior Technical Analyst - Information Management to join our growing team in Alexandria, VA.
The Junior Technical Analyst performs technical tasking for the (OUSD(R&E) Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, Mission Prototype (MP) Directorate working within the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
Role and Responsibilities:
- The Junior Technical Analyst supports the Mid-Technical Analyst to assist in information management of ongoing and prospective prototypes and demonstrations.
- Assist team to examine and solve complex problems associated with project oversight and guidance of innovative technology, prototypes, and demonstrations
- Assist and provide input to support Mission Prototypes (MP) Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) information management process to efficiently collect and disseminate timely project information related to planning, concept development, project management and execution relevant to current and planned prototypes and demonstrations
- Assist in providing input to enable efficient creation, storage, and dissemination of necessary information required for MP oversight of ongoing and prospective prototypes and demonstrations.
- Assist in providing technical requirements to establish, maintain, and improve portal and project tracking for the FCT, including project tracking tool training assistance.
- Assist in collecting and providing feedback to DoD webmasters to ensure issues, questions, and inquiries from industry and government are addressed
- Extract and provide project information to support preparation of graphics for reports and briefings
- Assist in responding to short notice data calls, project updates, presentations, and deliveries of project information to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years+
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, technical, or analytical discipline
- Clearance: Secret
- Experience supporting technical project management or technology management
- Understanding of innovative technology prototypes and demonstrations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Commercial/private sector or DoD industry experience, such as coordinating with small businesses, non-traditional defense vendors (highly desirable)
- Strong oral and written communications
