Key responsibilities


- Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks


- The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information


- Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes


- Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending


- Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support


- Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations


- Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting


- Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations


- Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization


- Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required


- Complete and direct forecasting reports

- Financial analysis & planning (go-to-market experience preferable)

- Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

- Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

- Well-founded grasp of Balance Sheet Reconciliation

- General familiarity with bank reconciliations

- Proven knowledge of budget forecasting

- Wide ranging experience with SAP B1 - Business One

- Journal entries experience

- Cash Flow Forecasts experience highly desired

- Practical knowledge of financial reporting

- Strong familiarity with financial analysis

- Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel

- Quality experience with financial statement preparation

- Foundational knowledge in variance analysis

- Month end closings experience preferred

- 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
