Mechanical Engineer

EmployBridge Search Group is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer in the Simi Valley CA area. The Mechanical Engineer will apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials for strategic projects and embedded hardware platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform basic electrical engineering concepts and electronics packaging techniques
• Creation of 3D modeling using Solid works. Creation of detailed assembly and fabricated drawings
• Successful use of manufacturing methods, procedures and processes
• Continuous improvement of manufacturing documentation processes
• Interface with internal and external customers.
• Collaboration with production to transition products from development
• Planning, managing and execution of multiple design activities while maintaining quality, cost and scheduling requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering related field, a plus
• 5 plus years of in Aerospace, Defense or Space industries
• Strong technical capabilities
• Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal
• MS Office Products and Solid Works experience
• Experience with mechanical, new product design, acceptance testing including documentation
