Direct Service Associate (DSA)

ACI Federal™ is looking for Direct Service Associates for a hospital specializing in psychiatric care. You can expect to be a member of a supportive and collaborative team who aim to provide support to geriatric patients with mentally challenging diagnoses. The site of this Psychiatric Hospital is in Williamsburg, Virginia and you can expect to be on this assignment for 13-weeks with the possibility of extension.

Compensation: $18/hr.
Shift Expectations: 2nd shift (3:00PM - 11:00PM) or 3rd shift (11:00PM - 7:00AM).

Responsibilities

• Helps patients with their personal hygiene such as bathing and keeping beds, clothing and living areas clean.
• Observe patients to direct behavior patterns and report observations to medical staff.
• Aid medical staff to sustain a calm and cooperative environment for patients.
• Intervene to restrain and deescalate all forms of violence.
• Willing to improve their knowledge through on-site training
• Comfortable working holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed

Requirements:

• Certified Nurse Assistant license
• Valid license or a willingness to obtain a license within 60 days of employment
• Highschool Graduate or Completion of a GED
• Prior experience with mental health support is a plus!
