A health network in North Carolina is currently seeking a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Labor & Delivery team at one of their facilities in Fayetteville.

Responsibilities:

The Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) will:

• Perform thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive and accurate
• Provide competent and appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation
• Assess patient reaction and understanding of procedure/instructions.
• Perform pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NC Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
