About the Job
The Inventory Control Manager will report directly to the Director of Inventory Control. Specific responsibilities will include:

Duties & Responsibilities
The Inventory Control Manager will work directly with the practices, merchandising, operations, product supply chain, finance & accounting, information technology and legacy & compliance. Specific responsibilities include:
The Inventory Control Manager will work directly with the practices, merchandising, operations, product supply chain, finance & accounting, information technology and legacy & compliance. Specific responsibilities include:
a. Monitoring -- Provide ongoing visibility & monitoring of inventory units/value in all inventory locations (e.g. Practices, In Transit, ABB DC). This includes tracking of recalls, rebates, new product introductions (NPIs).
b. Audit daily inventory transactions and make corrections as needed.
c. Maintain and track stock levels of Accessories items that AEG sources /sells -- including health vitamins, eyeglass cleaning kits, etc.
d. New practices, 90-dyas after a practice is acquired - when the ALE POS and Eyefinity ER systems are installed -- AEG removes 100% of the existing merchandise line-up (Frames, Lenses, Contact Lenses, Accessories) and replaces it with out go-forward assortments. The individual will assist with both the introduction of new items and removal/liquidation of old items.
e. Make/approve adjustments in the system as needed.
f. Monitoring daily transfer to multiple locations.
g. Review and identify obsolete and aging inventory.
h. Follow up store theft and insurance claims.
i. Work with appropriate individuals, practices, merchandising, operations, product supply chain, finance & accounting, information technology and legacy & compliance to document and maintain SOPs for process like inventory adjustments, purchase returns, and internal transfers.
j. Follow up ABB inventory reconciliation -- discrepancies.
k. Prepare the practices for Physical Inventory incorporating best practices, create SOPs and provide training as needed (ensure all participating employees are properly trained); in combination of internal / external services (e.g. RGIS).

Qualifications
* 5 -10 years of relevant Business Experience .
* Experience with acquisitions, integrations and "buy & build" businesses is a plus.
* Experience with Retail is a plus.
* Comfort with PMO Process/Project Management, Financial Management.
* Experience in Office-Based, Multi-site Health Care -- related business is a plus.
* Excellent Verbal, Presentation, and Written Communication Skills.
* Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* Experience with acquisitions, integrations and "buy & build" businesses is a plus.
* Experience with Retail is a plus.
