Shipping Clerk, Day Shift

Label Specialties is searching for a full time, day shift shipping clerk for our growing shipping and receiving department. Excellent pay ($18 - $20 an hour with opportunities for overtime). Experience in a shipping or logistics environment helpful. Most importantly: We're looking for someone who is dependable, extremely detail oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

• Blind ship thousands of packages per week, including skids, ground and express parcels.

• Handle documentation for shipping packages (primarily domestic with some international).

• Work with carriers to get the best freight costs for LTL and full truckload freight;

• Maintain and manage an inventory of all shipping supplies.

• Coordinate with customer service team to resolve any purchase order, sales order and manufacturing order discrepancies.

• Provide shipping quotes.

• Assist boxing department as needed to pack customer orders in boxes/packages/skids.
