Position Description
TheTraining Program Lead Training Modules performs assignments and oversees activities associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of Xe-100 training modules. Example training modules include: engineering training, management training, rad worker training, cyber security training, tagout training, safety training, material handling training, etc.

Note: Successful candidate must be located in Maryland or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
Analyze, design, and develop training modules for Xe-100 staff/ workers.
Assure the training modules remain current and compliant to regulations, client requirements, Xe-100 design and procedures, and relevant industry guidance and standards.
Create documentation necessary for X-energy, its clients, and its suppliers related to training programs, licensing, procurement, and Xe-100 operations and maintenance.
Provide oversight and project management to suppliers, including review and acceptance of deliverables.
Provide oversight and direction to training department instructors and administrators.
Coordinate training department resources for student training activities.
Participate in training department activities, such as: Training Committee duties, self-assessments, external assessments/audits, instructor certification, simulator maintenance, documenting and recording training program activities, and management of auditable training records.
Work with and assist other personnel (X-energy and suppliers) in design, analysis, Human Factors, verification and validation, simulator, procedures, operations, and maintenance.
Support X-energy and Xe-100 Fleet initiatives and special projects

Training Department Instructors and Administrators

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a science, engineering, or related technical field -or- education/training
In lieu of degree, additional nuclear industry experience (more than 4 years) in training, operations, or maintenance such as Nuclear Navy experience.
At least 4 years of experience as a nuclear training instructor, operator, or maintainer at a nuclear power plant (commercial, military, research, test, etc.).
Knowledge of and experience with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
(Prefer) Knowledge of and experience with training suites like VISION and Learning Management Systems
(Prefer) 6+ years of commercial nuclear or Nuclear Navy instructor qualification -or- CBT (computer-based training) developer experience -or- a combination of training and developer experience.

Status:Full-time, Exempt
Hours:8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
