Full-Time Lead CNA

BrightStar Care of Plymouth, a small home care agency, is looking to employFull-Time Lead Certified Nursing Assistants(CNA)to provide private-duty home care, train new hires out in the field as delegated, work in-office as needed, and cover open shifts within companys territory. * Base Pay: $21-$23/hr predicated on experience * $400 sign-on bonus * Company contributes 50% to individual health insurance premium * Paid Time Off (2 weeks of PTO earned right away) * Travel Reimbursement * Weekly Pay * $1000 Employee Referral Bonus * Employee Recognition MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL up to 25 MILES within companys territory, as needed!! NO OVERNIGHTS! Every third weekend on-call only! Otherwise no weekends! Some Communities We Serve In Our Territory: Plymouth, Wayzata, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Ramsey, Champlin, Anoka, Coon Rapids, St. Michael, Rogers, Buffalo and Delano. CNA Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Must be Active on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry * CPR Certified * Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred * MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL up to 25 MILES within companys territory, as needed * Must have Drivers License with insured, reliable transportation * Must have a smart phone to utilize mobile apps for schedules and clocking in/out CNA Essential Duties: * Build rapport with all existing and future clients by learning their POC, life history, likes and dislikes etc * Work the first couple of shifts with new clients and collaborate with Scheduler * Assist DON in training all new hires out in the field in clients homes * Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards * Perform activities of daily living (ADL) as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, linen changes and light housekeeping as needed * Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight * Monitoring of clients conditional changes, charting and reporting to the DON * Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, assist client to doctor appointments and other outdoor activities as needed * Other duties assigned and or delegated by DON * Work in-office during slower weeks as needed performing delegated tasks by management team (e.g., scanning, filing, organizing etc) Advance your career and join a compassionate and dedicated care team.
