Maintenance Technician

A local Tallahassee company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will have core responsibilities with building upkeep. This Maintenance Technician role will assist with general tasks, such as clean-up, light construction, and some mechanically inclined occurrences. In addition, the Maintenance Technician will also work with outside contractors and vendors for the completion of large-scale projects.

Maintenance Technician job responsibilities:

• Flexible schedule and overtime offered
• Opportunity to work independently in both outdoor and indoor areas
• Provide general building maintenance repairs such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting, etc
• Repairing faulty equipment units
• Planning and scheduling repairs
• Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies

What we look for in a Maintenance Technician role:

• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs., and at times, up to 50 lbs. safely
• Work history in construction, landscaping, or keeping grounds
• Experience using powered equipment and tools
• Communicate clearly and manage a project list
• HVAC knowledge and experience preferred but not required
