Bookkeeper

Our client located in Oakland County, MI is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing their day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Their new addition will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks as well as owning weekly Excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable, and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines, while paying attention to details.


Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience owning payroll and payroll reports
  • Construction Experience Required
  • AR / AP experience
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks, and ADP or related payroll software.
  • Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks and submitting payroll taxes
  • Understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
