UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Sr Marketing Research Consultant to join our Strategic Insights team. This position will join our growing team, which has an increasingly important role in driving growth for UnitedHealthcare and enabling our mission to help people live healthier lives. The Strategic Insights Group works across the Enterprise, working with business partners and leading insights initiatives that focus on improving experiences and driving growth.
This role will support strategic consumer insights initiatives that have visibility across various UnitedHealthcare business divisions. The individual will be responsible for leading primary and competitive research, consulting on consumer needs and connecting business partners with existing knowledge. Research will focus on understanding consumer needs and preferences, improving experiences, and enhancing product and services for members. The Senior Research Consultant will interface with leadership to share insights, provide consultation, and influence decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal business colleagues to identify insights needs and provide research consultation
- Define learning objectives and lead research studies, both qualitative and quantitative
- Identify customer needs and ways to improve the customer experience
- Synthesize insights (integrating multiple data sources) for internal business partners, preparing presentations that deliver insightful, strategic, and actionable insights
- Consult with internal business partners to ensure the voice-of-customer is a key driver for business decisions using presentations, reporting, and ad hoc inquiries
- Draft executive summaries for upper management
- Manage and maintain relationships with research agency partners to ensure business needs and vendor requirements are met, including training on new processes when needed
- Contribute to the success of a strong Strategic Insights Group as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years primary marketing research experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
