Rates Technology Business Analyst - Sales/Trading (VP)
In an increasingly regulated and highly e-Commerce/e-Trading focused landscape, as business trends towards franchise driven revenue, a highly efficient Client Centric Sales force is a key contributor towards staying ahead of the competition and procuring greater market share. With this context, Rates Business has highlighted the need for a technology vertical team to partner with Global Rates Sales.
This is a Technical Business Analyst role in this highly business focused team. A successful candidate will have a keen business acumen coupled with ability to work closely other technical groups in order to prioritize and manage the project work slate. This role will interface with key Global business stakeholders and be reporting directly into the Global Head of Rates Sales Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a strong working relationship with the NAM Sales user base andinteract with users to gather requirements and translate them in to deliverables
- Work with global tech teams (Pricing, CRM, E-Trading, Trade Processing, Risk, etc.) to prioritize and drive the business deliverables
- Refine, prioritize and slice the shared book of work / Product Backlog items with the team working in Agile environment
- Support the roll-out of products to NAM based sales. Principally NY, but also covering regional sales sites
- Establish and maintain and ongoing dialog with the regional counterparts to ensure global consistencyKey Relationships:

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience in Investment Banking Front Office space
- Knowledge of Front office Sales/Trading workflows and pricing of capital markets financial products
- Data mining and Data analytics (Preferably with QlikView)
- Understanding of terms/concepts like Earned Value, Types of Risk, PAA etc.
- Experience writing concise business specifications, user stories and storyboards
- Prior knowledge of Financial Products (preferably Fixed Income products) and associated market/trading conventions (preferable)
- Experience working in complex global environment (preferable)
- Experience of preparing mock up design based on end user stories (preferable)
Skills:
- Ability to accurately extract, agree and document business problems and requirements with highly time-constrained users.
- Take ownership of the requirements to successfully implement and drive user adoption.
- Self-starter who can pro-actively engage users and negotiate requirements
- Ability to quickly grasp the complex and varied business processes and translate them into appropriate technology touchpoints
- Ability to accurately document Functional designs in order to drive the development process
- Ability to compare and analyze large quantities of complex data
- Ability to query the big data and produce MIS reports for regional e-commerce and Sales management
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited institution
