Labor Technician

The Company: ARS Cleanup Restore Rebuild is a full-service Restoration company based in Northern Utah. It has been in business since 1985 and started with one location in Logan, Utah. It has since grown to include offices in Riverdale, UT, Murray, UT, Rock Springs, WY, Casper WY, and Rigby, ID. ARS is known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

The Position: We’re looking for a Mitigation Technician to cleanup after disasters in customers’ homes. This includes water extraction and demolition for both residential and commercial properties and the employee may also assist with mold removal, fire and smoke damage, and other types of demolition or cleanup. The pay range we’re offering is based on experience, but experience is not required.

Nearly all technicians begin their career at ARS with no experience in the restoration industry. We will provide online training alongside on-site training to provide you with the knowledge and skills to properly mitigate damage in customers' homes and begin the rebuilding process.

Requirements:

• Background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• DMV check (Driving record)
• Supply a small list of personal tools
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Be motivated and a hard worker, be punctual, and a team player

Responsibilities:

• Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-5. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
• Remove damaged building materials
• Use commercial extraction and drying equipment and small tools
• Apply cleaning solutions as needed
• Physical activities such as climbing, lifting, walking, carrying, and handling of equipment are done daily
• Clear communication skills
• Complete paperwork thoroughly and accurately and report job progress to the estimators
• Be respectful of customers’ home, time, and property

The Location: ARS Cleanup Restore Rebuild is looking to hire at the Riverdale, Utah location. The shop is located at 1708 W 4800 S, Riverdale UT 84405. Employees report to the shop each morning before going to the job site(s).
