Job Description

LinkUp is a leading provider of the highest quality job market data to a wide array of clients across numerous industries around the globe. Clients need data delivered through our partner platforms and distribution channels with high reliability and daily updates. We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer to make sure that our data gets delivered to our business partners consistently and efficiently, whether via cloud platforms or direct connections.

The diversity of products and services enabled by LinkUp’s data means that our clients are diverse and need us to adapt to their needs and collaborate with their preferred data solutions partners so that they can focus on the contents of the data and not how it gets to them. This role requires an engineer’s technical sophistication, but also the ability to understand business issues and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the LinkUp presence on various data platforms like Amazon Data Exchange, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Research platforms for additional client usability features.
  • Design, develop and operate scalable, resilient data distribution pipelines.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders - such as the heads of product, strategy, sales and our CEO.
  • Innovate on additional methods of streamlining data delivery.

To Be Successful, You’ll Need

  • 3+ years experience with cloud data services including AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc. with practical knowledge of availability, scalability, clustering, microservices, multi-threaded development and performance patterns.
  • Experience with using and developing APIs.
  • Experience with ETL
  • Experience developing within cloud-based environments, especially with Amazon Web Services.
  • Linux/Unix experience.
  • Curious and self-motivated with the ability to learn a technology platform quickly.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in software development with programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, etc practical knowledge of availability, scalability, clustering, microservices, multi-threaded development and performance patterns.
  • Experience with financial market data or alternative data a plus.
