CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machine Operator Job Summary: We are looking to fill a CNC Machine Operator position at a growing automotive manufacturer that provides components to the automotive industry’s leading Tier 1 manufacturers. Located in Walker, MI, this company treats their customers, suppliers, and employees with respect, humility, and honesty. CNC Machine Operator Requirements:

• Load, unload, run and maintain machines
• Accurately making running/adjustment tooling offsets
• Complete required documentation and production inputs
• Perform secondary tasks such as visual inspection, gaging, deburring
• May perform postproduction tasks such as assembly and leak testing
• Meet production rates while maintaining quality
• Alert supervision of any quality concerns
• Perform quality sorts as needed
• Track machine downtime
• Perform general maintenance including filling coolant, using a refractometer, checking fixture bolt tightness and locators…
• Follows and adheres to 5s expectations and cell cleanliness
• If applicable will be responsible for all tooling indexes and sleeve changes and track tool life

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift 5:00am-5:30pm Monday – Wednesday and every other Thursday
• $20.00/HR plus opportunities to earn more as you learn more

CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Able to stand, walk for duration of shift
• Manufacturing experience
• CNC Operator experience preferred but not required
• Team player that treats others with respect and promotes a positive, professional work environment
• High attention to detail
• Blueprint reading a plus but not required
