Our Client in the Automation Industry is seeking a Technical Support Specialist with 3 years of experience that includes a strong Technical and Call Center background

Technical Support Job Summary

• Provide product technical support, advice, and assistance to external and internal customers.
• Understand and analyze customer requirements for product design, modification, or appropriate application. Installation and/or field work required.
• Delivery, service, and support to customers and/or end user.
• Provide technical support for internal and on-site customers.
• Compares, analyzes, and determines if existing products can meet customer's needs.
• Consults with direct supervision or internal customers for product modifications.
• May prepare proposals, quotations and apply appropriate pricing.
• Maintains current knowledge of company's products and equipment capabilities.
• Completes assigned departmental projects.
• Identify and escalate priority issues.
• Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary.
• Possess knowledge of product and industry standards affecting quality.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• May perform CAD tasks.

Required Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree, and 1-3 years of related experience
