My name is David Slaymaker and my company, Analysts (American Cyber Systems) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Tech Team Manager/Lead with Java, cloud, and Software Development Lifecycle Experience to support an internationally recognized financial client.

Location: Workers must live in one of the following locations for hybrid off-site and on-site work: Saint Louis (preferred), MO, Minneapolis, MN or Atlanta, GA.

Pay Rate: $170K Salary / $88/hr W2 or $98/hr C2C through an approved subcontracting company.

THE ROLE:

This senior tech lead will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure, and will frequently be involved in modifying or adapting existing designs. They will review Technology requirements and business processes; codes, test, debugs and implements software solutions. This work is often project based, delivering Technology change within the business.

This role will develop and maintain technical capabilities and products to meet the business needs, deliver engineering support in the conceptualization, development, implementation and automation of technical capabilities and products, and provide technical advice and consultation on complex, critical programming applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strategic design and requirements as a major contributor to a projects’ success for large revenue generating systems/products.
• Identify improvements in systems and work and participates in estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans and test cases, requirements, and project planning.
• Consistently demonstrations clear technical judgment, innovation, and consideration for the projects’ objectives.
• Able to provide technical guidance, supervise others, provide instructions, and debug code written by team members.
• Self-starter, motivated, and actively learning and researching new methods of work and new technology.
  Contributions of this level spans across the team and the development platform.
• Consistently hit development time estimates without underestimating or overestimating ability.
• Guide and mentor junior developers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews.
• Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8-15+ years of experience in software development and cloud technologies
• Experience leading teams of developers.
• Possess strong Java development skills.
• Experience working in a Cloud environment - either AWS or Google Cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
• Experience working with Microservices architecture.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with a tool such as JIRA.
• Preferred experience with GitHub, SonarQube, CI/CD and Performance Tools.
