Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, maintaining a unified team, and providing exceptional customer experience while growing the department. The role will direct culture using our IMPACT statement, engage with the team, and drive organizational results from each department and will serve as a tactical member of the leadership team. The focus of the role will be on leading the departments' financial growth, strategic plans, and culture. Exceeding customer expectations, building value, and bringing resolve to customer and technician experiences will be key.

Duties

The following list represents the major task required of the position. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the company leadership team.

  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and implement them
  • Develop individual quotas and assign to sales team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Be involved in hiring and lead the training process when bringing on new team members
  • Present and close sales quotes to the customer by knowledgably sharing how this will resolve the customers need, providing answers to the customers questions and help them overcome any objections they have.
  • Provide design and estimating team with needed details to allow them to provide you with viable solutions and quotes to the solve the customer's needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with sales team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required or assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or the company leadership team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years' experience in sales
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Results oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Experience leading a sales team with a proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (ADA COMPLIANCE)
  • Must be able to perform site visits, includes but not limiting to; crawl spaces, kitchen areas, roof top (accessing via roof ladder/hatch or portable ladder), mechanical/electrical rooms
  • Must be able to lift and move around equipment up to 50 lbs.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
  • This position reports directly to the Director of Operations
  • Sales team reports directly to this position
