Senior Vice President, Americas Unit

  • Mentor, guide and evaluate Department's direct reports

  • Provide development opportunities to the team and ensure career paths and succession plans are charted out, reviewed and updated

  • Direct the development and implementation of Americas Unit team's policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective result

  • Oversee highlighted risks mitigation steps and reduce non-compliance through ensuring the availability and promotion of stipulated policies and procedures

  • Review the root cause analysis of non-compliance and prepare strategies to minimize future non-compliance

  • Oversee information security risks mitigation and ensure reduction in non-compliance

  • Develop probability of left/right tail events and recommend investment solutions. Research to include theoretical validation, empirical back-testing, model construction, rebalancing rules, and operational risks/considerations given existing processes, data platform and resource constraints.

  • Engage leading academics, comparable sovereign wealth funds, and leading investment managers on best practices and industry research on innovative asset allocation approaches and determine their potential application/impact on the PIF investment portfolios

  • Establish medium-term capital market assumptions, identify shifts in business cycles, evaluate the implications for asset classes given relative valuation levels, and incorporate emerging trends such as ESG factors, inflation, currency, and liquidity risks (i.e., through pacing models of private asset classes) in order to recommend new multi asset class investment positioning.

  • Prepare required material, participate and support senior management in oral presentations to the Management Investment Committee, Board Investment Committee, or other internal or external stakeholders on the establishment

  • Strong track record in managing multi asset class portfolios

  • Bachelors required. Master's in relevant subject (business, finance, mathematics, engineering, accounting, economics) preferred

  • 15+ years of experience

  • CFA preferred
