Job Summary:

Works in the Maintenance Department to setup, changeover, fine tune, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production lines and on all aspects of machinery, buildings, and facilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Stay proactively engaged in optimizing performance and uptime on the production floor.
  2. Adhere to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  3. Set up, operate, troubleshoot, modify, perform preventative maintenance, clean, and repair all production equipment and machinery. Specifically, tube filling, hot pour, monobloc filling, Lot Code printers, Labeling equipment, single head and multi head filling equipment, automated Capping equipment and Case Taping equipment.
  4. Support training and provide coaching and feedback to Maintenance Technicians and machine operators.
  5. Maintain and improve 5S adherence and organization.
  6. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  7. Understand programming and PLC trouble shooting.
  8. Record all scheduled preventative maintenance in Maintenance Connection Software or other similar system (Currently manual paper system).
  9. Support sanitation, facilities, and other departments.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Pipe threading and bending
  2. Welding
  3. Electrical troubleshooting
  4. Working knowledge of all building related skills (i.e., painting, light construction, drywall, electric, plumbing, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills:

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Accepts as well as deliver direction to and from others.
  • Read, interpret, understand, and generate, technical manuals, blueprints, schematic diagrams and computer input and output diagrams.
  • Work safely on ladders and in forklift safety platforms.
  • Work safely with all power and hand tools.
  • Work with computers as related to operation of PLC controlled machinery.
  • Perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely.
  • Must pass tests to qualify on Machine testing.

Education/Experience:

  • 1-2 years' experience working in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 3+ years maintenance experience or related education (Physical, Mechanical or Electrical engineering)
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

  • Routinely lift 50-100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand
  • Occasionally/frequently required to walk
  • Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • Regularly reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally/frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

  • Production Floor Environment is HVAC Controlled
  • Warehouse Environment is not HVAC Controlled
  • Regularly required to work in areas where chemical materials are encountered
  • Regularly required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • May involve exposure to shop environment including variable noise levels
  • Must customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that will be, or could be, performed in Colorado. Compensation for similar positions located outside of Colorado may differ.

If performed in Colorado, the base wage for this position generally ranges between $21-$32/hr. This hourly range may vary based on relevant factors including but not limited to experience, education, performance, scope of responsibilities, location and other considerations permitted by law.
