Lead Salesforce Developer (Remote)

About the Role

Brivo seeks a motivated and experienced Lead Salesforce Developer with a get it done attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems. As the Lead Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into working solutions through building, delivering, and maintaining intelligent and robust solutions for Brivos back office applications. Overall, the right candidate has extensive experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and other third-party services; is a self-starter, but not afraid to ask questions; excited about tackling big challenges; works hard to build something great; and has a constant desire to make things better.

You will also be expected to:

  • Engage with stakeholders to identify and document corporate requirements, lead efforts of new system enhancements and/or features, as well as maintain existing functionalities and performance

  • Implement solutions that adhere to Salesforces and NetSuites best practices using their platforms components, and other technologies to build customizations that support business units

  • Assist in managing Salesforces CRM and NetSuites ERP platforms, as well as defining an delivering a long-term Salesforce and NetSuite vision and roadmap

  • Create workflows, scripts, process builders and triggers (and know the proper use of each)

  • Help lead the Enterprise IT/IS team to design, analyze, code, test and implement solutions for business process needs

  • Manage configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards

About You

  • You are comfortable working in the Force.com platform using Apex Code, creating Visualforce Pages, and using Web Service APIs

  • You are experienced in deploying large scale Salesforce applications

  • Have a solid understanding of Salesforce Objects and the business processes around them

  • Are comfortable working in the SuiteCloud Development Framework

  • Can create and maintaining the applications you write

  • Can create and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems to ensure that trouble is quickly rectified

  • Can write supporting functional and unit tests for your code

  • Thrives in a diverse, fast-paced environment, and effectively collaborate across teams

  • Are passionate about learning and implementing new technologies, excited about digging in and tackling new things, and are constantly wondering how to make things better

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience of Salesforce development and administration

  • 5+ years experience of NetSuite development and administration

  • 3+ years experience implementing global integration solutions with CRM and ERP software, strongly desired

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and NetSuite OneWorld, strongly desired

  • Proven experience and deep understanding of system implementation, analysis, and data modeling

  • Extensive development experience using SOAP and REST APIs, and RESTful Web development using JavaScript

  • Experience writing frameworks and usable APIs for other developers

  • Ability to create, maintain, and administer software development toolsets

  • Strong organizational and prioritizations skills, as well as excellent attention to detail

  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes

  • Strong customer service orientation, effective in interfacing with project stakeholders, and able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

  • Capacity to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II, preferred

  • Additional Salesforce certifications e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and JavaScript Developer certifications, desired

  • Experience in Salesforce Lightning platform, Knowledge, and Pardot, desired
