FX Venue Liquidity Manager

Our results-orientated Transactions team has responsibility for the revenue generated by the LSEG FX trading platforms: We are in the process of building out a Venues sales team who are responsible for the trading within Matching (Spot & Fwds) Order book (ECN) & Price stream our (D2C) product.

We are currently seeking a liquidity management specialist, and ideal candidates will have experience working on an eFX Sales or Trading team within a bank or previous experience managing liquidity for a hedge fund or venue.

The role will be working within the venue's sales team working with our largest clients and internal account managers providing an inside in trading & sales from our Primary and secondary interbank venues. Speaking to the existing client base of LSEG banking and Prime Broking Client community.

This is a high-profile role within a team that link the multi-million-dollar technology investment in LSEGs re-platforming programme with revenue growth.

The person will act as the 'go to person' for all FX venues products in use at an institution and manage API trading within our interbank venues.

Responsibilities
  • Grow overall transaction's volume on Spot Matching and Forwards Matching platforms to meet and exceed the annual growth target. This will involve regular contact with LSEG major clients to ensure efficient trading conditions on the platform through management of liquidity sources, workflow solutions, credit profiles, user access and post trade arrangements.
  • Improve our share of clients' transactions business viz-a-viz driven offerings to contribute to the global LSEG market share in FX.
  • Grow our volumes and share in Order book and PS as we deliver the new re-platformed venues
  • Establish and maintain credibility, respect and levels of customer service that consistently exceed the expectations of the customer. Support thought-leadership initiatives with deep market and industry knowledge.
  • Bring to bear relationships and knowledge of clients' business to promote related Refinitiv services, generating sales leads to pass to our other sales departments.
  • Provide clear and timely product and market feedback to sales and proposition management.
  • Effectively manage a cost budget to improve revenue objectives.


Required Skills
  • Expertise in quant trading/execution and liquidity management within FX markets through experience working for a bank, hedge fund or venue.
  • Knowledge of all primary & secondary currency markets across the selected region the candidate must have had experience or have been responsible for driving execution via various hedging tools.
  • Willingness to travel supporting the banking networks within their allocated global region
  • A strong teammate, proactive and objective oriented. A very high level of attention to detail is essential in delivering the accurate solutions to this client group.
  • Be conversant with current industry developments and eFX-trading issues.
  • Work with the LSEG proposition teams for market developments and opportunities
  • The ability to work under considerable time pressure and demonstrate vitality, energy, drive and passion.
  • Very good client-facing skills, the ability to set client expectations and the ability to get along with all levels of the client's organisation.
  • Technology-literate particularly in relation to electronic trading.


Preferred Skills
  • The role should be preferably someone who has been working on Bank E- FX desk and conversant with API and desk trading discussions extracting market share and translating internal platform trading solutions to LSEG customers
  • Experience querying data and building reports from Hadoop (Impala / Hive) or KDB (q) data warehouses.
  • Existing client relationships within the FX market would be preferable
