Delivery Associate
Role Description
Our client is looking for a full-time or part-time independent contract Delivery Associate to assist in the daily duties of delivery operations, including loading/unloading of delivery vehicles at our warehouse and customer sites. This role is essential in helping us deliver an excellent customer experience by ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time, and at peak quality.
Key Result Areas
Loading and unloading according to the delivery schedule
Interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and the public while delivering products to customer business locations
Partner with Operations on ensuring product delivery and quality
Use handheld technology to deliver customer orders, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles
Skills / Qualifications
Can work on an on-call basis
Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence, must have a clean driving record
Customer service experience is a must
Delivery experience is required
Highly collaborative and consistently working on process improvement
Comfortable learning new software and providing feedback on apps
Detail-oriented, reliable, on-time, and organized
A quick learner, proactive, and works quickly
Working Conditions
Capable of moving up and downstairs at client locations
Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50+ pounds
Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts
Strong time management when dealing with systems/customers/staff
