This healthcare organization strives The Mother Baby Postpartum Assistant Nursing Manager will be based out of 550+ bed Magnet designated acute care hospitals known for their array of inpatient and outpatient services, including their Behavioral Health, Women and Children Services, Children’s Hospital, Trauma Center, and Surgical Service Department.

This acute care hospital is known for the large Women and Children Services, including their Labor and Delivery unit with 5,500 annualized births, High Risk Pregnancy Center with multiple OB-EDs, their state of the art Mother Baby suites, and the Level IV NICU. The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee the Mother Baby Postpartum unit and is responsible for department operations, scheduling, conflict resolution, policy procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

As the department resource for the Mother Baby team, the Assistant Nurse Manager should have recent clinical experience working in a Mother Baby Postpartum or LDR/LDRP experience, along with some charge nurse, supervisor, senior nurse, or preceptor experience. Assistant Nurse Manager Mother Baby must have a seasoned nurse holding (or able to obtain prior to hiring) their North Carolina or compact multistate RN license prior to starting.
