UX/UI Designer

Overview

Experis, a ManpowerGroup company has an exciting contract opportunity for UX/UI Designer This position is a 6+ Month contract (Possible Extension) role for one of our key clients, a global medical device and healthcare company that seeks bringing life-changing health technologies to the people who need them all over the world.

Position: UX/UI Designer

Location: Westford, Massachusetts

Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)

Description:

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
• Conduct testing of sample applications, and software to evaluate user experience and ease of design
• Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
• Optimize and improve user experience through design and usability best practices
• Work with the cross-functional product team to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and key stakeholders
• Incorporate feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Usability, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in User Experience (UX) design preferably in a regulated industry (i.e., medical, defense, etc.)
• Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Sketch and other design tools with a solid understanding of UX and UI design principles.
