PTI Solution Architect (SAP)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's direct client is looking for a PTI Solution Architect (SAP) for a contract to hire role. If local, can be onsite 2x week in Philadelphia. They will consider 100% remote candidates. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • PTI Solution Architect will prepare and lead requirements gathering sessions with business leaders across the organization
  • Coordinate all necessary steps to complete development and carry out business user acceptance testing to satisfy the business requirements
  • Lead the IT team and business team thru data conversion and cutover activities during go-live events
  • Design, map, and blueprint client business processes in ERP system (SAP) with -as is- solution or system enhancements
  • Prepare designs, configurations, and functional specifications for client database needs
  • As a PTI Solution Architect, you will identify, analyze, and provide solutions to close software performance gaps
  • Configure client ERP systems and ensure configuration transport across the system landscape
  • Test system configurations and validate their correctness and functionality
  • Create test plans and perform unit testing, acceptance testing, and product testing to determine functionality of client applications and business processes
  • Perform defect management, update defect database, and monitor and close completed defect tickets after applying solution and fixes
  • Contribute to user training by providing documentation, training, and answer questions
  • Specify users and user access levels for each application and transaction
  • Analyze, review, and program software enhancements to increase operating efficiency and adapt programs to new requirements
  • Analyze business processes specific to the various SAP modules including Production, Quality, Procurement and Logistics
  • Analyze the functionality supporting the business process of clients
  • In performance of responsibilities, travel up to 5% internationally

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Production & Operations Management (POM), or a related technical field; 7 years of experience with manufacturing systems and processes; Working with SAP and its -Produce to Inventory- (PTI) functionality; And integration between PTI functionality and warehousing systems and processes; And 7 years of experience must include designing and architecting supply chain systems and processes, as well as quality assurance processes; And 7 years of experience with remanufacturing processes, communicating user requirements, and the automotive aftermarket parts and manufacturing processes
