The Opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring Catering Attendants to join our team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Catering Attendant, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting. In this food and beverage server role, you will see that Progressive Field guest needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner while following company standards and policies. Pay Rate: $12 - $14 / hour Responsibilities * Set up tables for function in accordance with event order.* Set up and tear down of events* Transport food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.* Perform necessary tasks to service guests including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes.* Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.* Monitor guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; brings guest complaints to supervisor's attention.* Replenish food on buffet lines as needed.* Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.* Break down the event according to company procedures. Qualifications * Minimum of 3 months previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.* Excellent guest service skills.* Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.* Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for entire length of shift.* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.* Mobility to maneuver between tables.* Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
