What the role is about

Senior Product Designer with ownership of the LXP. A senior IC that can support the innovation, design and enhancement of the learner LXP.

As a Senior UX Designer, your core tasks and responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with other UX designers, researchers, product managers, and customers to understand user needs and come up with innovative solutions
• Understanding requirements by working with product managers and engineers
• Creating pixel-perfect designs ready for development handoff
• Recommending design solutions and UI improvements for DS components across the platform
• Supporting the growth of the Design organization
• Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all with a user-centered design process.

Requirements

Who you are & The skills we are after

• 6+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role. Web and mobile.
• Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web-based applications and native mobile apps.
• High interest in constantly keeping up-to-date on latest design and technology trends, best practices and competitive activity
• Ability to perform with ambiguity or when requirements are in flux
• Proven experience showing clear understanding of the intersection between user needs and technology constraints
• Willingness to work across time zones in a highly distributed environment
• Comfort in delivering solutions and performing tasks within agile workflow
• Aesthetic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
• Demonstrated effective communication and collaboration - Can work well on a collaborative team
• Proficient in design tools.

• Fluency in UXPin
• Experience in Enterprise Product (Portfolio project)
