Boiler Operator

Atlas Roofing Web Technologies is seeking a Boiler Operator for Franklin, OH.

Boiler Operator Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for following all plant rules of conduct and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain system, and all operations pertaining to Boiler Operation.
• Responsible for the continuous safe operation.
• Monitor Boiler to ensure safety and optimum operation
• Perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Responsible to report any and all maintenance related items to Maintenance and utilize the Work Order system.
• Monitor conditions in the Still Yard and Blow Still to ensure upset conditions do not occur. This includes but is not limited to machinery, temperature, steam, air and boiler operations.
• Must be trained in the Emergency Generator operation.
• Assist with general maintenance as needed.
• Any responsibilities as assigned by Supervision.

Boiler Operator Experience

• Minimum state required hours experience with a High-Pressure Boiler

Boiler Operator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Language: Must be able to speak fluent English
• Mathematical abilities: Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and
• ability to calculate percentages and add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals
• Reading Ability: Able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations. Ability to present information to and respond from questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, or the public.
• Computer skills: Word – beginner level (memos, letters, formatting)
• Tools: Must be able to use power tools, including electrical testing and measuring equipment.

Boiler Operator Education, Licenses & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have current and valid Class 1 Boiler Operators License

Boiler Operator Additional Information

• Must be able to work rotating shift schedule, holidays and overtime, maintaining a 24/7 Operation
