IT Business Analyst Level 1-2

Key Responsibilities -

The purpose of the IT Business Analyst role is to analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as document management systems, knowledge management systems, and workflow configuration systems . Incumbents in this role represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. This role may be assigned to interface with and support one or more client organizations such as Finance, HR, Operations & Supply Chain,

Procurement, Commercial/Sales/Marketing, Corporate Development, Legal, IT, Research & Development/Science & Technology, and other internal business partners and regional locations.

The key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

* Coordinates with the business and technology teams, ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.

* Analyzes complex business problems and assessing how automated systems can be implemented or modified to solve them.

* Formulates and defines the objectives and scope of business systems.

* Gathers data and analyzing business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users.

* Performs other administrative, functional, and technical tasks as needed.

Required Skills -

* Minimum of two (2) years performing relevant work experience in IT business processes and systems analysis.

* Solid understanding of business functional areas, business management issues and data analysis.

* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow ideology.

* Advanced computer skills including programming experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.

* Ability to read, modify, and create workflow automation logic.

* Strong desire to proactively search for opportunities to automate manual processes and create innovative solutions.

* Exceptional written, presentation, interpersonal and oral communication skills

* Demonstrated leadership, initiative and results-orientation.

* Effective team facilitation, influencing, and decision-making skills.

* Meets assignment deadlines through effective organization skills, and priority and time management skills.

* Able to drive projects from conception to implementation with exceptional follow-through and focus on completed staff work.
