Customer Service Representative



Job Description

Our office is growing, and we are looking to train the right individual to fit right into our company. We are currently seeking to fill two part-time positions. Our Client Service/Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects when they call in for assistance.

The Client Service/Sales Representative position will involve answering multiple phone lines, providing customer service to agency customers, in-house sales, and cross-sell of insurance products, generate renewal letters, and other additional clerical duties as directed by the agent or associates.

Responsibilities

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
  • Process customer policy change requests, generate insurance quotes
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information, document each customer contact in customer database
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain high levels of client retention and product loyalty.


Requirements

  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Proficiency in multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train the good individual.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Previous work experience in insurance sales, marketing, telemarketing experience.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish or other language is beneficial.
