Job Description
Internal Job Title: Customer Service Rep. Associate
Possible temp-to-hire for the right person. Customer is also working to fill this position internally.
Pay Rate: ***-*** an hour depending on experience. Please provide your best bill rate***
Not remote-must work at the location: flexible hours, Monday Friday 8 hours/day....can be anytime between 7am and 5pm.
Candidate will be reporting to the director of finance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary conduit between customers and production personnel to fulfill customer orders.
Administer and coordinate customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide customer service in determining part availability, lead-time, pricing, shipment discrepancies, product information.
This person will process and prepare credit memos, invoices, quotes, technical support requests, work instructions, in-house scheduling reports and written & verbal correspondence to customers and production personnel.
Maintain the electronic workflow for miscellaneous work order requests. Monitor all open miscellaneous work orders and close and invoice when appropriate.
Monitor customer forecasts as communicated electronically via customer Portal.
Requires support of and response to Production, Purchasing, Engineering, as well as other internal departments to facilitate an organized, timely and cost-effective delivery of parts.
Sort incoming mail and deliver outgoing mail to the post office daily. Ensure proper funds are available in postage meter.
Backup to receptionist when he/she is not at the receptionist desk.
All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designee.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
4 plus years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong ability to multitask using several computer systems simultaneously (JDE, Microsoft Outlook, Customer Order Portal, Excel)
