Job Description Summary:

As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, this role is responsible for leading Option Cares strategy in the areas of government, private and managed care health insurance programs. This role is essential in developing innovative approaches to growing the payer coverage for Option Cares services throughout the country. The Vice President, Market Access Sales will lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategic plan to drive expanded coverage for Option Care services and optimal reimbursement through implementation of managed care contracts with current prospective health insurers. The role also is responsible for maintaining key vendor/regulatory relationships and partnering with the revenue cycle team on the establishment of reimbursement policies and procedures that are compliant and aligned with the Companys commercial strategy.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

Oversee and coordinate the strategy for comprehensive, multi-year contracting to result in expanded coverage decisions and access to Option Care services from public and private payers.

Develop strategies to support cross functional activities in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Revenue Cycle Management.

Lead the Market Access sales team and the day to day management of reimbursement strategies including creation of economic value propositions, payer messaging and prioritization of activities related to all payer organizations.

Support the senior executive team through communication, reporting and the evaluation of future reimbursement initiatives and key projects.

Work with the marketing team in the development of tools and collateral to train the sales team and revenue cycle management team on payer education and strategy.

Maintain on-going account management of existing agreements and position Option Care as the leading choice for infusion services. This includes on-site business reviews, process improvement with medical/care management, and contract evaluation against annual forecast.

Coordinate reporting and clinical care initiatives with operations team to assure high patient satisfaction and cost effective clinical outcomes.

Responsible for all pricing, negotiations, execution and contract implementation

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

Proven track record of successful contract negotiations, execution and implementation followed by revenue growth.

Bachelors degree

Basic Qualifications

10 or more years of managed care experience

Strong relationships within health plans across the country

Demonstrated organizational skills to include development and execution of strategic initiatives

At least 5 years of demonstrated success in leading teams to develop and execute strategies.

50% or higher

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
