Strategic Planning Analyst with Security Clearance
LinQuest is seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst to support Space Operations Command (SpOC) with strategic space enterprise planning, program analysis and funding. Responsibilities include: * Gather and analyze space superiority/space control requirements as part of the integrated planning process; identify shortfalls; perform trade space analysis; recommend alternative solutions.
* Conduct program analysis and ensure that ensure program funding and budgets are on target.
* Incorporate financial data/guidance into analysis to provide a prioritized investment strategy.
* Brief internal and external stake holders, to include general officers and their associated staff.Required Experience/Skills: * Current experience supporting SpOC/S8Z
* 10+ years space experience, including 3 years in space capability/force planning at HAF/Joint Staff/Combatant Command/MAJCOM or 3 years working SAP/SAR space superiority programs.
* Demonstrated understanding of Space Control requirements and analyzing needs and capabilities.
* Strong written, and verbal communication skills with experience briefing general officers.
* Experience with managing and analyzing program budgets, proven experience with managing budgetary expectations.
* Must be able to analyze space system operational, technical, programmatic, and acquisition inputs and formulate recommendations for senior leader consideration.
* Must understand the DoD capabilities development process and the Joint Capabilities Integrated Development System.
* Demonstrated expertise in the Space/Space Control architecture
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially when communicating technical information to audiences with varying backgrounds.
* Ability to brief and interact with senior-level officers (i.e., GO/FLAG) and senior civilians.
* Active TS/SCI clearancePreferred Experience/Skills: * MA/MS
* Excellent management skills, communication skills (both written and verbal), organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsCompensation
• Salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
