Cashiers are a vital part of the Crew Member family and assist the management staff in helping run the restaurant efficiently. The Key Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers when entering and leaving the restaurant

Managing all cash, credit, check transactions on the register to complete a customer’s accurate exchange for purchased goods

Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner, following Little Caesar’s Values and store procedures.

Cashier Job Description:

We are looking for qualified and responsible candidates that can manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately while exemplifying the professional standards laid out by Little Caesars.

An all-star candidate is someone who knows their way around a cash register and can easily operate it along with other POS attributes, like a scanner. The Cashier’s primary responsibilities include accepting payments (cash, credit, check), providing receipts, and making sure all transactions run smoothly and every customer is satisfied with the service provided.

Candidates must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly, professional manner, and provide any assistance should a customer require. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to delight our customers and provide them with an outstanding dining experience. Individuals must also be able to follow instructions, willing to learn, and be a hardworking member of our valued team.

Previous experience is an advantage.

Cashier Responsibilities:

Greeting customers when entering and leaving the restaurant

Managing all customer transactions, providing accurate change when applicable and receipts upon all transactions

Bagging, wrapping, delivering purchased goods for a means of safe transport during customer transactions

Balancing the cash register upon opening and closing duties

Making sure pricing and quantities are accurate during all transactions

Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards when necessary

Processing returns and refunds according to company standards and procedures, resolving any customer complaints when necessary in a professional manner

Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate

Cashier Role Requirements:

Experience with POS (Point of Sale) Systems & Cash Registers

Good Math Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to handle customer exchanges and complaints in a professional manner

Cross training to operate surrounding stations is provided and expected.
