Regulatory Relations Specialist

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Regulatory Relations Specialist in the Corporate Risk Regulatory Relations team. The Corporate Risk Regulatory Relations team serves as the primary point of contact for all domestic regulatory engagements that involve Corporate Risk areas. The team ensures an organized and cohesive approach to interacting with regulators ensuring transparency and consistency of communications, providing oversight and guidance on the quality of regulatory responses, and ensuring adherence to enterprise policy requirements.

The role is broadly responsible for supporting members of the Corporate Risk Regulatory Relations team. This support is required for ongoing supervision meetings/activity, ad hoc requests/meetings, and formal examinations. Activities include (but are not limited to):
  • Assisting in meeting coordination, including speaker preparation and oversight of material development
  • Taking meeting notes, preparing executive ready summaries, capturing themes, and ensuring action items have ownership and are delivered in a timely manner
  • Taking the lead in formatting materials for internal and external meetings
  • Managing response development to any regulator questions
  • Maintaining, compiling, and providing historical engagement information/context as needed
  • Supporting other projects or initiatives as needed
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders

In this role, you will:
  • Participate in regulatory reporting and identify opportunity for risk and compliance controls within change management work streams
  • Research regulatory and governance requirements while exercising independent judgement to strengthen oversight and visibility of regulatory commitments
  • Present recommendations for resolving business initiatives and change management work streams while developing improved regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 2+ years of Regulatory Relations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency with power point and excel
  • Demonstrated ability to capture the essence of meetings and prepare first drafts of executive level summaries
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range

$76,300.00 - $135,700.00 Annual
