Accounting Manager

Our Atlanta-based client is a new private equity backed, $200M rev, very profitable (+$30M EBITDA) high-growth (via acquisition) company based in Sandy Springs. This business is the 5th largest in their industry and will double in 2 years. You'll be one of the early hires in what will be the industry leader. This is a great chance to advance your career! This role reports to the Controller directly and the accounting group will continue to expand. For them we seek a high-potential Accounting Manager to support the consolidation of financial results from purchased entities, account reconciliation, close support production of reporting package. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Preparing and consolidating financial statements and reports
• Assisting with the development and evaluation of budgets and preparing budget reports
• Supporting the formulation and implementation of control systems within the organization
• Ensuring strict compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Preparing and managing accounts using various software programs
• Preparing and assisting with audits
• Following changes in regulations and compiling reports regarding compliance issues, standards, and accounting practices
• Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations of subsidiaries
• Performing analysis on financial results

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of Accounting experience
• Familiarity with percentage of completion accounting is ideal but not required

EDUCATION & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
• Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solver
• Highly motivated and energetic
