Associate Testing Engineer



Job Description

LINQM is looking for an Associate Testing Engineer.
Key Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of tasks in support of a wide range of Engineering activities such as test, modification, fabrication, and assembly; may formulate and propose technical solutions.
• Perform operational test, trouble-shooting test equipment, and identify failure modes on systems and propose technical solutions
• Operate a wide range of lab equipment including set-up, clean-up, break-down, and re-assembly
• Collect, document, and analyze test data
• Perform test method development and validation for equipment and product designs
• Build complex prototypes, sub-assemblies, and prepare feasibility test using sketches, CAD, etc.
• May create and modify drawings and procedures for fixtures, equipment, products, or processes
• Train, coach, and guide lower-level employees on new procedures, assess work techniques and provide feedback to engineers on procedures.
• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period.
Ability to use a wide range of lab and test equipment such as Instron testing machine, accelerated wear testing equipment, laser cutting machine, 3D printing equipment, pulse duplicator equipment, etc.
Good understanding of cardiovascular device test equipment
Ability to identify problems in complex situations to perform root cause analysis, trouble shooting and propose technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings, schematics and carry out assembly instructions.
• Must be able to work independently including formulating work instructions, testing procedures, and providing guidance and training to lower-level employees.
• Knowledge and understanding of GDP (Good Documentation Practices),
• statistical techniques and standard procedures.
• Strong computer skills, including usage of MS Office Suite; and CAD software such as Solidworks.
• Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
Education and Experience: Associate's Degree or equivalent in or technical degree/certificate , 4 Years years experience previous experience in R&D Lab and/or medical device experience Required or 6 Years years experience related experience Required
Preferred: Engineering Degree willing to work in Technologist role.
