Job Description

Picker's responsibilities are but not limited to, Manages pick ticket orders

• Pulls orders from locations


• Ensures orders are complete and accurate


• Stages order/s correctly at shipping stations


• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed


• Ensures warehouse goals are met


• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards


• Shrink wraps products to pallets


• Loads delivery vehicles


• Packs warehouse orders as necessary


• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked


• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Picker is responsible for the cleanliness of their work area during production and at each shift end. Floors need to be swept, all trash should be picked up and empty boxes need to be properly disposed of. Must wear the proper personal protective equipment, (if required), while working in shipping area.
