Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry, and currently manages both locations. 1. POSITION: F&B Operations Coordinator

2. LOCATION: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224

3. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other duties expected of the F&B Assistant Operations Manager position and assist in all other Food & Beverage operations as assigned and directed.

• Responsible to assist the Food & Beverage management team of designated Food & Beverage locations.

• Reports to F&B Director and Operations Manager for daily responsibilities.

• Supports all locations in any capacity as needed.

• Responsible for all day-to-day front of the house and back of the house operations of designated Food & Beverage locations.

• Responsible for excellent guest services at designated Food & Beverage locations.

• Responsible for excellent food and beverage quality at designated Food & Beverage locations.

• Responsible for compliance with NYC health code regulations and food safety laws.

• Responsible for monitoring designated locations needs for goods, utensils, and cleaning supplies.

• Responsible for controlling operational costs and identifying measures to reduce them.

• Support F&A Department in inventory control.

• Support Sales Department in group outings, celebrations, and private events.

• Must be able to multi-task at multiple locations. Open to learning all job positions.

• Must be able to stand and walk long distances over the course of a shift.

• Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs.

• Responsible for immediately reporting any issues to upper management.

4. WORK HOURS: During the off-season, the normal work hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday unless attending a conference, expo or other event. During the operating season, employee is expected to work as necessary, including weekends and holidays in performing all responsibilities for Luna Park in Coney Island. Operating season hours will be held to 55 hours as much as possible by Company, unless high priority projects must be completed.

5. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Enthusiasm, energy, positive attitude

• Customer-oriented culture

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage Management

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Hospitality preferred

• Knowledge of business and management principles and practices

• Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to Food & Beverage

• Due to the nature of the amusement park business, must be able to work a flexible schedule which include weekends and holidays

• Starting Salary: $18 per hour
