Currently, we are looking for a top performing Sales Manager. If you love to sell weddings/events OR if group sales is more your passion, we want to meet you! Do you love meeting people, taking on new challenges, and seeing your hard work pay off? We're in search of a driven, motivating sales manager to help our team achieve our sales goals. You'll be responsible for setting our sales strategy and targets, cultivating our sales staff, evaluating their progress, and ensuring we hit our sales goals. You should be a leader, innovator, hard worker, and team player, creative and solutions focused.
We are minutes from Akron-Canton Airport off I-77 in North Canton, two miles from Akron-Canton Airport. Belden Village Mall and the Pro Football Hall of Fame are seven miles or less away. We offer our guests a heated indoor pool, a patio with a fire pit, and over 6,000 sq. ft. of event space with 150 guest rooms. Every evening we offer a reception in our atrium. Our guests also enjoy a free daily cooked-to-order breakfast. All combined is a hotel and team you can be proud to sell!

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in developing hotel's sales department strategy to help maintain inventory levels according to market demand and competitive strategy to maximize hotel room revenues.
  • Maintain property sales parameters to achieve established goals.
  • Track lost business and turndowns to help ensure department strategy fits in with market conditions.
  • Resolve guest complaints appropriately to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and efficient use of sales automation system.
  • Ensure all sales call goals are met professionally and timely.

Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess telephone etiquette skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and manages time well.
