Test Automation Engineer (API)
CRBO Compliance Technology is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to work on an Asset Management compliance product. We are looking for top engineering talent as we design and build the platform. The role involves working in an agile team, in a highly collaborative and engaging environment and being adaptable to shifting priorities.
The Expertise We are Looking For
- Expert (5+ years’ experience) working on API testing preferably Cucumber based testing frameworks
- Expert (3+ years’ experience) in writing DB Sqls
- Experience testing Financial Services products or components
- Understanding and experience in Asset Management
- Experience in SQL, Restful Web services
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery (CI/CD) patterns using cloud infrastructure.
- Superb communication & presentation skills
The Skills You Bring
- Strong contributor with a collaborative work style
- Understand RESTful API principles and have experience testing RESTful API’s using FitNesse/Cucumber
- Are a test automation specialist and can design test automation frameworks for service and UI level regression cases.
- Are a FitNesse expert with 5 or more years of hands-on experience writing FitNesse wikis and Fixtures in Java
- Experience using AWS tools and working in a cloud-based infrastructure.
- Have worked on Scrum / Agile teams
- Have experience working with Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), using FitNesse
- Have experience in using git, maven for code maintenance
- Can understand business/system requirements and create automated regression suites
- Have experience using and configuring continuous integration and continuous delivery products, preferably Jenkins
- Understand the best engineering and QA practices and have the skills to coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Are able to clearly detail defects in QC/ALM
- Are motivated, are a good communicator, can take initiative to solve problems, and can make decisions based on the value of the solutions we build
- Are hardworking and self-motivated!
