Cage Cashier

Job Description:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for assigned funds and protection of company assets in a positive manner with guest or team members, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

Job Requirements:

• Make change, cash E-tickets, and slot payouts.
• Issue employee banks to assigned employees and their departments.
• Help with the distribution of payroll checks at the cage on paydays.
• Maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
• Responsible for all key transactions in the cage, per gaming regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• Must have previous experience in handling cash.
• Knowledge of Title 31 requirements while enforcing gaming policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work independently and unsupervised.
• Must be able to use a 10 key and have strong computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of S.D.S, or Casino Market Place is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal with inebriated customers in a courteous manner.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
