DESCRIPTION: Data Scientist will the development of analysis plans, complex reports, statistical and machine learning algorithms, and data visualizations. Focus will include designing and implementing machine learning, data mining, development of algorithms to analyze datasets to support our client in Augusta, GA. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Developing analytical models using statistical analysis, data mining, and/or machine learning * Researching, developing, implementing, and utilizing statistical methods and strategies to address tactical and strategic problem sets, while working with a technical team and business owners * Providing client guidance and support in the development of data science platform capabilities, data quality metrics, and metadata capture * Developing standardized evaluation and validation frameworks for current and future machine learning work * Developing and maintaining machine learning software components and micro services * Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets. * Make and communicate principled conclusions from data using elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application specific knowledge. * Through analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or another appropriate scientific method, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets. * Translate practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and, conversely, assist others with drawing appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data. * Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences. * Make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions. Required Experience Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Demonstrated experience in any of the two subject areas: mathematics/statistics, computer science, domain expertise/analysis, and or the following, * Statistical Analysis * Programming (skill in at least one high-level language (e.g., Python), statistical analysis * Modeling / Machine Learning * Graph Theory * Algorithm Design * Computer Science * Scripting * Databases * Cloud Computing * Object-Oriented Programming * Domain Expertise / Analysis * Current agency analytic tools and databases * SIGINT Collection Systems * Metadata Analysis * Data Mining MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph * An active and current government clearance is required to be considered for this work * A Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field may be substituted for the required years of experience. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a quantitative or technical field of study, such as: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, Engineering or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Clear Resolution Consulting (CRC), our employees are the heart and spirit of our company.
