Position Description: EKG Tech

The EKG Tech responsibilities include:

• Performance of EKG including the completion of high-quality tests, report generation, record keeping and all related support activities.

• Assists the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as needed.

• Functions independently with minimal or no supervision and, may coordinate others, as applicable.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education:

• High School or Equivalent

• Preferred Technical Electrocardiography (EKG)

Experience:

• Preferred 6months Electrocardiogram (EKG)

• Or 6 months related field

• Interpersonal Skills

• Computer Skills appropriate to position
