Sales Manager

We are looking for our next Sales Manager to lead a global team of Client Partners who work with our top customers around the world, partnering with them on the sale of their most prized and treasured collectibles. You will have an immediate and wide reaching impact by focusing on client development to increase buyer and seller activity and reach revenue goals.

As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for leading a team of client partners to reach and exceed their quarterly and annual targets by building the right infrastructure and strategy to enable them to bring in as many consignments as possible. You will coach the team on managing and building relationships with existing customers and on tactics and strategies to proactively find new customers to bring onto Goldin. You will also train your team to perform consistently, managing a pipeline and holding them and yourself accountable to revenue predictability and pipeline accuracy. This sales leadership role provides the opportunity to work collaboratively across our Client Partnerships, Account Management, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Business Development teams and to be on the front lines of engaging the hobby. You will learn a lot, grow with your team, and have fun, all while putting collectors first.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a global team across multiple time zones by providing the team with tools, strategies and a framework to achieve sales goals
  • Accurately manage quotas and pipeline, keeping the sales team on target
  • Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members consistently
  • Evaluate current team processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing them
  • Use sales training techniques & methodologies to up-skill and enhance team performance
  • Act as a liaison for our customers and provide feedback to the business and product owners
  • Uphold company values, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and honesty, while embracing team culture

Qualifications
  • BA/BS required or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of sales management experience
  • Hobby/collecting knowledge required
  • Experience with Salesforce required
  • Proven leadership qualities through coaching and mentoring new and/or tenured sales teams
  • Ability to analyze sales performance metrics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Must be able to work out of our Runnemede, NJ headquarters on a hybrid schedule
