IT PROJECT MANAGER - HYBRID
The Project Manager of IT is responsible for establishing the roles, functions, duties, and responsibilities of the Project Team. This role will assign tasks, report status, and evaluate staff. The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities surrounding maintenance, support, and enhancements for assigned business applications. They will organize and provide the plans and means on which to base management decisions throughout the life of a project. Manage multiple projects through the system development life cycle.
Responsibilities: (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
1. Project /Practice Management
a. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
b. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
c. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
d. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to business user.
e. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
f. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
g. Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
h. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
2. Project Accounting
a. Tracks and reports team hours on a weekly basis.
b. Manages project budget for IT related activities.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of experience, preferably in Information Technology, Systems and Project Management.
• Advanced knowledge in SDLC methodology, conceptual design, and analysis.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
