Role Description: The Network Security Analyst III requires 5-8years of experience performing network security assessments and risk analysis. The Network Security Analyst recommends and installs appropriate security products to network platforms to ensure a secure environment. Configures and maintains firewalls and other network security tools. Responsibilities Include: * Identifying potential threats and managing resolutions of security violations * In-depth knowledge of Transport Control Protocol (TCP)/IP and network/protocol analysis for troubleshooting communications, network optimization, network forensics, and security. * Applying security measure to infrastructure devices * Using government-provided network monitoring tools to perform intrusion detection, identification, and internal/external IT threat analysis * Establish and maintain access control list to grant and restrict network access appropriately to users and processes per authorization rules * Implement vulnerability management to ensure security of systems * Monitoring and employing hardware and software tools to enhance network security Qualifications: Clearance: Secret Certifications: * IAT II (Security+ce or equivalent) * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification Education: * Bachelors Degree or Additional 4 years of relevant experience considered in lieu of education (Associates degree = 2 years, Additional Applicable Certifications = 1 year) Experience: * 5-8 years of relevant experience Preferred Skills: * Experience in a military/DoD (USAF) environment * TS Clearance Benefits at Sentar: In addition to a great culture, Sentar offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees and their families!
