CAS Party Reference Data (PRD) is a 350-member global operations team with a presence in US, UK, India, and Poland. Party reference data refers to information about parties (legal entities) and party-to-party relationships. The data is critical for client onboarding, trade execution, risk management, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting. We are on a multi-year journey to transform the way the firm defines, creates, and uses party reference data. The target state will satisfy evolving business and regulatory requirements while improving the client experience and simplifying operations.
The VP Change Manager is responsible for leading a team of direct reports responsible for operational readiness for strategic and business change initiatives driven by Reference Data Strategy and Party Reference Data Operations. The Change Manager works closely with the CAS PRD leadership team and their directs to facilitate information sharing, operational readiness and ongoing BAU effectiveness. The VP Change Manager is responsible for leading a team of direct reports responsible for operational readiness for strategic and business change initiatives driven by Reference Data Strategy and Party Reference Data Operations. The Change Manager works closely with the CAS PRD leadership team and their directs to facilitate information sharing, operational readiness and ongoing BAU effectiveness. The role is responsible for the following activities:
- Analyze, design, and implement operating model changes
- Design and deliver procedures and training to support changes
- Partner with Global Party Reference Data Process Leads on current state assessment, defining solutions, testing and implementing operating models for Party Creation and maintenance
- Identify operational synergies with Client Onboarding, KYC and other business stakeholders to eliminate redundant and/or manual processes
- Business and Operations Stakeholder management
- Local stakeholder management and represent as a point of contact for Change Management
- Coaching and development of managed staff
- Partner with Reference Data Strategy, Project, and Technology to implement the future state data models and domains, including defining the target operating model within the Utility
- Design, deliver, and maintain department procedures, job aids, SharePoint and confluence pages
Skills Required
- Project Management experience preferred
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint skills
- Flexibility to adjust to business needs
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple lines of business and various leadership levels
- Influencing and collaboration skills across global teams
- Demonstrated ability to obtain SME knowledge of multiple processes
- Strong time management, organizational skills and effective prioritization skills
- Experience creating and presenting business updates
- Clear and timely communication (both verbal and written)
Experience Required
- Experience managing direct reports
- Excellent group presentation skills
- Prior writing experience creating documents, papers, policies or procedures that are professional, comprehensive, and easily understood
- 10+ years of experience in data management, process management, business process reengineering or related field
- Project management and change management
- Process modeling experience in defining new or changes to business and operations processes
